Boater Education AND Training are critical for the safe operation of recreational vessels.

Despite their tireless efforts, INEXPERIENCED BOATERS STILL RANK WITHIN THE TOP FIVE CAUSES OF RECREATIONAL BOATING ACCIDENTS!
Organizations such as U.S. Coast Guard,  U.S. Coast Guard Auxiliary, U.S. Power Squadron, and Natural Resources Police (State dependent, check your local State regulations) provide excellent boater safety education programs.
STB Training can bring Hands-On Training to YOU!
AFTER you have successfully completed an approved Boater Safety Course, its time to put those educational principles into practice.  STB Training offers Hands-On training in Basic Seamanship for NEW BOATERS as well as for those boaters who simply want to enhance their confidence and experience on the water.

Individual boaters, couples, small groups (fishing/boating buddies) and families can all benefit from Basic Seamanship Skills:
Safety and Emergency Procedures

Docking 101: "The art and science of docking"

Anchoring
