Truck Company OperationsTruck company operations are vital to a safe and effective fire ground. Truck companies are required to perform more independent functions on the fireground. Our instructors bring valuable years of experience to courses that expand and enhance your knowledge and skills of truck company fireground operations.
Acquired Structure BurnsMany times we learn the trade of firefighting in concrete block buildings. While these buildings provide a safe and reusable facility to teach the basics, using an acquired structure to reinforce the basics and showing advanced techniques are huge in the development of our future and current firefighters. The STB instructors are trained in NFPA 1403 training and have completed many acquired structure burns.
High Rise OperationsHigh rise firefighting operations have an elevated risk associated with them. They are even more dangerous if you have high rise buildings but do not have many fires in those types of buildings. Many of the STB instructors work respond to high rise buildings on a regular basis. Allow STB to come to your Department and share our experiences.

SCBA Drills and RecertificationThe SCBA is one of the most important tools we have as firefighters. Having an in-depth knowledge of the operation and use of the SCBA is necessary for all members, not to mention it is a requirement to maintain OSHA compliance. The STB instructors have taught SCBA drills and completed recertifications countless times, and lectured at FDIC on SCBA competence. Let STB come and pass on the knowledge and skills we take enjoy in teaching.
Portable ExtinguishersUsing portable extinguishers is something taught in the basic firefighter courses. However, not everyone is a firefighter. STB can come almost anywhere and provide classroom and hands on training using live fire and real extinguishers to train on the use of portable fire extinguishers. Help your members, or employees, stay prepared by training them in the use of portable extinguishers.
