Kim has been in Fire & EMS for 28 years. She currently works full time for the Ocean City Fire Department as a Firefighter Paramedic, FADO, FTO and Rescue Swimmer. She also volunteers for the Fruitland Volunteer Fire Company where she serves as their EMS Captain. She has been mentoring and training new Fire EMS members throughout her career. Also practicing as an Athletic Trainer for the Wicomico County Schools, she has spoken at the Maryland State Fireman’s Association and Maryland Athletic Trainer’s Associations annual meetings regarding Bridging the Gap between EMS and Athletic Trainers. She also serves as Faculty for the American Heart Association where she teaches CPR, ACLS and Instructor Training for both Ocean City Fire Department and Salisbury Fire Department.
